TUAM BABIES PROTESTERS

Tuam babies protesters on Easter Monday targeted the Dublin 4, 'Communications Clinic' offices of PR guru Terry Prone. The Tuam Home Survivors Network says Ms. Prone is enriching herself by representing religious orders now found to have lied to a Commission of Investigation.
"Terry Prone is helping spin lies by nuns who are making fools of us all," says group member, Anthony Fennell. "You can call it 'spin', but it's lies." The Tuam survivor and relatives group wants Ms. Prone to cease acting for religious orders.
Earlier today the group held a protest action at the offices of the North Galway coroner, Dr Val Costello, in Headford, County Galway.

"The coroner, Dr Val Costello despite the discovery of human remains in 2016 has has still not convened an inquest," said Kevin Higgins a barrister member of the group who represented Mr. Peter Mulryan in Tuam-related High Court actions.
Mr. Fennell that the exhumation of infant remain in all Mother and Baby institutions is a key goal. "My intention is to dig every such baby up in this country, he said.
The group also staged a protest at the Mespil Road, Dublin offices of Katherine Zappone's Department of Children. They want her government to spur immediate investigations by Gardai and to initiate coroner's inquests into the Mother and Baby institutions.
The Tuam Home Survivors Network is planning protest actions at other coroners offices which have Mother and Baby institutions in their jurisdiction.
